Well I think that if you have a concealed weapons permit them you should be aloud to carry it. The reason of it is all the violence an things in these big towns. An they are trying to get an education an they have to worry about wither they are safe or not! But the only thing i see that you couldn't carry it if you wasn't 21 years old, because its a law that you can not own a pistol unless your 21 years old or more! I mean alot of the students im sure that old country boys with all the city folks with guns im sure they carry them! Gang issues 2-27-12

Dear CNN, The social issue that I have chosen is gangs. A lot of young people in particular are affected by the culture of violence. They may respond by putting themselves into gangs. These gangs are trying to show off how bad they are an let people. But they also instill a desire to control certain areas and situations, establishing their own territory and fighting against opposing gangs. Street fights, rape and murder can be part of gang violence. The local community in which the gangs are situated can become a dangerous area for all due to shooting while young kids are around stabbings that young kids an older people are afraid of. They see it on the news an then they could become afraid of their own place at home. You can’t have these gangs on the corner of the streets in these bigger city’s where the kids that are like 5-10 years old are walking home. I’m sure that is really scary to those students! Gang issues are priority concerns for much urban, suburban, and rural school, law enforcement, and other youth-service professionals. They need to stop the young youth gangs and they won’t have that problem later in live. A few ways you can tell wither it’s a gang or a club I how they dress, act, talk just everything that you would ask or talk about from meeting new people is how you can tell they are a gang. They also get tattoos of a same design, words or anything that they can identify it. The gangs in the new ages today, their isn’t many around. But back in the older days when the law an things of that nature wasn’t that bad an you could get a lot of trouble. Well I have went to school for 13 years in Barbour County.. I can say back when i was in grade school, the food wasn't all that bad an it did fill me up but you have to remember i was only 5-11 years old. Now im a high school an it takes more to fill this ol' boy up. I saw on that article that they only get 3 chicken nuggets. Well ive got news for any one ive got a 4 year old nephew that can eat 8 an he gets filled up! They try to feed us food that would fill a 50lb kid an they expect a 200 lb high school student/(ADULT!) to be full on that!

Well I could honestly careless about the junk food being taken out, because we dont have any in our school any how plus im gonna be out of here this year, but i can say that if your in high school i think you should be able to eat anything you want!

The parents that wont put there teenage girl is crazy id rather know my daughter was having safe sex instead of not knowing an then i would be a grandpa in 9 months!
